I have read chapter 15 with care and find it a fascinating piece of social history - which is much in demand from readers at the present time.
You begin with a simile connecting with the bit players on the stage and go on to mention the dangers and triumphs of taking things for granted which is a point which will resonate with most readers.
Continuing the chapter I thought the entry of the six foot base fiddle was hilarious and especially with having to haul it up a couple of flights. You did Phoebe proud. I hope she appreciated it!
Readers will also have considered your further question which was the meaning (and purpose) of life. This topic could run for chapters. I also liked the story and warning about the old school friends and overall, I congratulate you on an excellent chapter. Thank you

I just came across your website via a testimonial you wrote/inspired for Dragon Naturally Speaking. What a truthfully wonderful talent you have developed – doing what you do, and the extent to which you do it.
For most people, having such a hurdle thrown in front of them would cause a huge reduction in quality of life – and while I imagine probably haven’t been able to avoid that altogether, you’ve taken the ‘bull by the horns’ so to speak and REALLY made the most of things.
You are an inspiration to many (both with and without vision difficulties) – and for that you deserve many thanks.
